Jacques Pépin’s Reverse Manhattan
For 54 years before she passed, Jacques Pépin and his wife Gloria would sit at the table, open a bottle of wine, and have dinner together every night.
Occasionally he would make what he called a Reverse Manhattan. Vermouth, lemon, and a splash of gin, vodka, or scotch over ice.
It’s a loose recipe for a cocktail which means you can play with it to make it your own.
